Rig development
Rig is finally completed and allows me to start working on my animation
Now, when film is parented to the skeleton and not controller, it moves properly, however the head is still a problem.
Looks better to me, but still can not fix it completely.
Created a controller for the body, but it doesn't work properly. The film and the head move way too quicker then the body and film loses the original position once it's moved.

So once again I changed my idea completely, since I was trying to use the objects too literally. So now my three objects are:
OLD VIDEO CAMERA - material
INSECT - motion
SPY EQUIPMENT - meaning
So now I am thinking of creating a mechanical mosquito, that can spy on people. It will be in the room recording something and then it will be found by a human, will try to escape but will get smashed by a newspaper at the end =D

2nd sketch, developed ideas
I got some feedback and slightly improved my character. As it was too human-like, looking too much like a standard robot, I tried to make it more original. And I also changed the choice of my three objects: camera - material, unicycle (or a wheel) - motion, digger meaning.
So now it has one eye instead of two and only one hand and it has a wheel that helps him to move. To apply the meaning of a digger to my concept I could make my character suffer from dust coming into his eye. So he would try to clean it's eye, but would have difficulty seeing.
Another idea is more about the aspects of camera. So it could have problems with it's vision cause it can not find the right lens, so everything looks blurry for him.

First ideas and scetches
This is my first sketch, that includes my concept and some inspiration.
So I want to create a friendly robot, using camera for motion, digger for meaning and metal for material.
I am not completely sure about the story, but here are some of the ideas:
1. it's in the trash yard and it's body is not complete. So it's looking for it's missing parts and fixes itself. And the conflict could be about troubles of doing it with only one hand (cause the other one is missing) or it is hard for it to search for it's details cause one eye is missing or some parts on an eye (like a lens) and it cannot see well.
2. The robot is lonely and bored and it looks for details and creates a boyfriend/ girlfriend or just a friend for itself.
3. Or it could construct itself a baby, so it could be a sweet baby-father story. (for some reason I see it as a male - father, not mother-robot).
